Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers’ Relationship Will Always ‘Be There’
In recent promo for Avengers: Infinity War, fans have been able to learn a little more about our favorite heroes. While none of the information has given us any big clues in terms of Infinity War, we do know a bit more about what makes them tick.
As fans of Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes know, their personal stories are deeply intertwined. Although time has passed and their paths have taken them on separate roads, they’re sort of anchored to one another.
So fans of Bucky and Steve need to fear not about their relationship suffering at the hands of mind control or loss. What they’ve been through together will always be a part of who they are in the future.
During an interview with Hey U Guys, Stan said this about the bond.
‘Well, you know, it’s never gonna go away. That’s history. Your past doesn’t ever leave you. It’s more what you learn to do with it.’
He also mentioned a bit about what we can expect to see from Bucky as far as alliances and teaming up as an ‘Avenger’.
‘I would say at this point he’s just trying to find his alliances again. He’s finally just got a break, you know? He’s finally been embraced in a whole new world and being looked after — sort of developing trust with people. There’s obviously a huge thing coming, a huge threat coming requiring his help so he wants to gain that trust and maintain it. So, he’s just along for the ride right now.’
We won’t have to wait long to see what happens next for Bucky Barnes. Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on April 27th.
