Bradley Cooper and Will Arnett Working Together on New Movie

Longtime friends Bradley Cooper and Will Arnett are teaming up for an exciting new project called Is This Thing On?. The mysterious movie will feature both actors in starring roles, with Cooper taking on the directorial duties. Cooper, known for his work in A Star Is Born and the upcoming Leonard Bernstein biopic Maestro, has also recently appeared in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and reprised his role as Rocket Raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Arnett’s recent projects include the Max documentary SmartLess: On the Road and the upcoming TV adaptation of Twisted Metal.
Is This Thing On? has a script co-written by Arnett and Mark Chappell, with a draft completed prior to the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike. Cooper is expected to make edits to the script once the strike concludes. The plot details of the film are currently unknown. Cooper will produce the project through his Lea Pictures banner, alongside Arnett and Kris Thykier, with John Bishop serving as executive producer.
In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the Marvel Studios film, our beloved misfit group finds themselves settling into life on Knowhere. However, their tranquility is disrupted when Rocket’s troubled past catches up with him. Peter Quill, still grappling with the loss of Gamora, must unite his team for a perilous mission to save Rocket’s life. The success of this mission holds the fate of the Guardians in the balance.
On the other hand, in Peacock’s Twisted Metal, a fast-talking outsider is presented with an opportunity for a better life, contingent on safely delivering a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. With the assistance of a trigger-happy car thief, he must navigate encounters with savage marauders driving destructive vehicles and other hazards of the open road, including a deranged clown who drives an eerily familiar ice cream truck.
