‘Boy Meets World’ Mr. Feeny Stops Home Robbery

If anyone can take on a robber it’s William Daniels. He won fans hearts with his portrayal of Mr. Feeny on the popular television program Boy Meets World and went on to make guest appearances on the reboot Girl Meets World. Daniels also stared in 1776Grey’s Anatomy, The Graduate, St. Elsewhere, The Blue Lagoon, and the voice of K.I.T.T. in the original Knight Rider television series.

Daniels managed to keep an intruder at bay in his San Fernando Valley home on Saturday evening this past weekend by merely turning on the lights. By thinking quickly on his feet, Daniels kept the intruder from entering his home and forced him to leave the premises.  Daniels and his wife, Bonnie Bartlett, were home at the time and Daniels publicist issued a statement shortly after the attempted robbery to let fans know that the couple were not harmed in any manner.

Luckily, Mr. Daniels was able to frighten away the person and the LAPD quickly responded. They are both well. Mr Daniels thanks all his fans for their concern.

More details have emerged via ABC7. A spokesperson for the LAPD confirmed that the intruder attempted to enter by using force to open the back door. Thankfully investigators do not believe the burglar targeted the couple but rather picked picked the home randomly. However, at this time, no description of the suspect is available.

Will Friedle, who portrayed Eric Matthews on Boys Meet World, stated how all fans truly felt about the attempted robbery.

Who would want to mess with Mr. Feeny? No one. One would think the answer is apparent. However the suspect did not get this memo. While hopefully no further incident takes place within their home, Daniels may have given a new meaning to the call we have adored since the early 90s. What call should one yell when in danger? The Feeny call of course.
