‘BOSCH’: Fans get exciting news from Connelly and Welliver

Michael Connelly and Titus Welliver take to Instagram to share exciting news for fans of the Bosch series on Amazon Prime.

Michael Connelly shared on Instagram today that the cast and crew are in the final stages of filming Bosch season 5. He said they are now working on the season 5 finale episode. He then turns to lead actor Titus Welliver who shares that the popular drama has also been renewed for a sixth season.

This announcement comes well ahead of the fifth season’s premiere which will arrive in 2019. Season 5 pulls material from Connelly’s novel “Two Kinds of Truth”. Traditionally, each new season premieres in the spring.

Fans have so much to look forward to already with news of Ryan Hurst joining the cast for season 5 as an investigator that works with the infamous Honey Chandler. We wonder if Harry will be working on the same side as Chandler this season. They certainly have had their share of disdain for one another. In season 4, however, the pair actually collaborated in the fight for justice.

Viewers who want a peek inside of season 5 can check out photos on the “Bosch TV” tab of Connelly’s website. As far as season 6 material, we will have to wait and see. Personally, I am hoping that female detective Renee Ballard will make an appearance before too long. Ballard was first introduced in Connelly’s novel “The Late Show”.

Now fans can add Bosch both season 5 and 6 to their future streaming playlist. Seasons 1 through 4 of the Prime Original series are currently available to stream on Amazon Prime.
