Bill Cosby is facing a new lawsuit filed by nine additional women in Nevada federal court, accusing him of drugging and raping them. These allegations span from 1979 to 1992 and come shortly after Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo signed a bill eliminating the two-year time limit for filing sexual assault charges.

One of the accusers, Lise Lotte-Lublin, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to seek justice now that the time limit has been lifted. She had previously accused Cosby of drugging and raping her in 1989 but was unable to take legal action due to the time constraint.

The other women involved in the lawsuit allege that Cosby drugged them in various locations, including private homes, dressing rooms, and hotels. One of the victims, who chose to remain anonymous, claimed that Cosby lured her from New York to Las Vegas under the pretense of mentoring her acting career.

While representatives for Cosby have not responded to requests for comment, these new accusations follow a lawsuit filed by a former Playboy model in California. Victoria Valentino, now 80 years old, accused Cosby of drugging and raping her in 1969. She was able to file the lawsuit after California temporarily extended the statute of limitations for adult sexual assault survivors.

Cosby, known for his role in “The Cosby Show,” was the first high-profile figure to be convicted in the #MeToo movement. In 2018, he was found guilty of drugging and molesting Andrea Constand, a Temple University employee, and sentenced to three to ten years in prison. However, his conviction was overturned by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, leading to his release in October 2021.

Currently, Bill Cosby is a free man, and these new lawsuits bring further legal challenges as more women come forward with allegations against him.
