Beetlejuice the Musical Premiering this October!

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetle– wait, hold up a minute! That’s not a very good idea, is it? We have a better way of summoning Beetlejuice, and you don’t even have to do it yourself! Beetlejuice the musical is officially launching in October!

Tim Burton’s beloved Beetlejuice movie from in 1988 will premiere at the National Theatre in Washington, D.C.

Alex Timbers (Peter and the Starcatcher) is nominated for a Tony Award and is in charge to direct the production, while Connor Gallagher will be doing the choreography. There is a LOT to be excited here you guys; the musical is even getting its original score made by Eddie Perfect and Anthony King!

Lock up your kids, folks, he’s back! Beetlejuice is ruder, raunchier and frankly, more repellant than ever in this original musical based on Tim Burton’s wonderfully demented film. Directed by Alex Timbers (Peter and the Starcatcher), BEETLEJUICE has it all — exorcism, arranged marriages and an adorable girl scout who gets scared out of her wits. It’s the perfect musical to see after a long hard day-o.”
