Batwoman To Go Against “Gotham’s Greatest Foe”

Batwoman has been kicking ass since she’s returned to grace our screens! There was no episode last week, unfortunately but that isn’t stopping The CW from building hype. They released a curious synopsis for an upcoming episode! The episode in question, “Rule #1”, promises to see Batwoman go up against Gotham’s greatest foe. Who is Gotham’s greatest foe you may be asking? Well, that’s something we’d all like to know. The purposeful omission of the name of the villain is quite intriguing, leading some to believe it could be someone new. Who is Gotham’s greatest foe? Is it Bane? Scarecrow? Have all those Joker teases been leading to this all along!? Probably not, but it’s very fun to speculate, isn’t it? I’ll leave the synopsis down below so you can read it for yourself. Come to your own conclusions and let me know what they are in the comments below!

“THE CHOICES WE MAKE – Batwoman (Javicia Leslie) confronts Gotham’s biggest foe, while new information forces those closest to Kate to make some difficult decisions. Ryan’s feelings for Angelique (guest star Bevin Bru) puts her partnership with Luke (Camrus Johnson) and Mary (Nicole Kang) at risk, while Alice (Rachel Skarsten) goes on a warped walk down memory lane. Also starring Dougray Scott and Meagan Tandy. Michael Blundell directed the episode written by Nancy Kiu and Maya Houston.”

As fun as it is to speculate about this mystery villain, I think I got it figured out. We already know that Black Mask will be a prominent villain on this season of Batwoman. I feel like it’s likely that “Rule #1” will be his first appearance. I guess we’ll see, though! The only thing throwing me off is the fact that I don’t think that Black Mask qualifies as “Gotham’s greatest foe”.
