‘Batman Beyond’ Star Calls Out WWE’s King Ricochet For Wearing Batsuit
If you paid attention during Sunday’s WWE Survivor Series, you may have caught a glimpse of Batman Beyond and never knew it! WWE Superstar Ricochet wore a Batman Beyond inspired suit during the event.
Terry McGinnis, who is voiced by actor, Will Friedle, also of Boy Meets World fame, is a futuristic Batman on the animated series. The series sees this version of Batman being mentored by a much older Bruce Wayne.
Ricochet refers to himself as, “WWE’s Resident Superhero,” and the outfit worked perfect for his persona.
Will Friedle took notice of Ricochet’s outfit and the two exchanged messages via Twitter, with Friedle saying, “Hey, @KingRicochet… I think you stole my suit… #WelcomeToMyWorld.”
Ricochet then responded, “As someone who as seen Boy Meets World all the way through, multiple times, this is the highlight of my day!! Also, not stole. Inspired by!”
