Aye Matey! It’s International Talk like a Pirate Day

Pass the rum! Today, September 19 is International Talk like a Pirate Day!
So grab your fellow buccaneers, eye patches, peg legs and practice your “pirate-ese.”
And help you out, here are some rules:
– Don’t be afraid to threaten people: Being a pirate was dangerous work, they needed to be tough.-Use me instead of my and ye instead of you. Pirates were known to have bad grammar.
– Use nautical phrases: They spent most of their time on boats.
– And of course, don’t forget to slur your words: Rum was a staple for pirates.
