Ashton Kutcher Is Convinced He Has Convincing Justification for Mixing Orange Juice with Coffee

Ashton Kutcher is no stranger to pioneering the future – he’s already used his influence in the tech startup industry. But now, he’s aiming to revolutionize how we take our coffee! During a recent interview with The Kelly Clarkson Show this week, the star of Your Place Or Mine confessed that rather than creamer in their cup o’ joe, they opt for orange juice instead.

Kutcher, 45, played Kelly Clarkson’s “Obsessions” game, which gave him the opportunity to sell viewers on this radical idea. “I’m not big on creamers. I don’t like creamers. I usually drink black coffee. That is my go-to: black coffee,” Kutcher told Clarkson. “But, occasionally, I like light roast black coffee and one of the things about light roast black coffee is that it has citrus notes in it. And it’s one of the things that make… It’s the acidity that sort of gives it a brightness when you’re drinking coffee.”

 

For Kutcher, the citrus flavor helps reduce the “burnt sense” of black coffee. According to him,”When I want a light roast instead of medium roast coffee, all I do is add a splash-not much-of orange juice and it makes the beverage sweeter and brighter”. This trick has been helping this former That ’70s Show star for ages!

Despite her initial revulsion, Clarkson eventually consented to the idea. “Just a splash,” she instructed the host with caution.

Ashton Kutcher is presently making the media rounds to promote his new Netflix romantic comedy, Your Place or Mine. He and Reese Witherspoon portray best friends who switch houses for a week in this original film penned by Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Wears Prada) which can now be enjoyed on Netflix since February 10th!

During the movie’s opening, when Kutcher and Witherspoon posed for pictures that went viral due to their stiff stances beside each other, Kutcher shared on Chicks in the Office podcast how afraid he was of starting rumours about having an affair. He stated: “If I did something like put my arm around her or be all friendly with her, people would assume we were involved romantically. The gossip would start right away.” As Entertainment Tonight reported, it is clear that this star couple had every intention of avoiding any false speculations!

“If I stand next to her, I put my hands in my pockets so there’s no chance that, like, that could be the rumor, the rumor is we don’t like each other,” he continued. “Reese and I are really good friends. We’re really close. I don’t have to defend that. I don’t have to defend it.”

Appearing on The Today Show, Witherspoon revealed that even Kutcher’s wife Mila Kunis noticed how awkward the two were together. Witherspoon shared that Kunis emailed them both saying: “You guys look so awkward on the red carpet together.”
