‘Arrow’: Who will be the Season 6 ‘Big Bad’?

After that explosive and quite unexpected Season 5 finale that left us with a cliffhanger that shocked that Arrowverse fandom, fans are already scrambling to figure out what the plan is going to be for Season 6.

The cliffhanger not only left viewers wondering who possibly died in the Lian Yu explosion, but it has also raised questions in regards as to who the Season 6 ‘Big Bad’ is going to be.

Now that Prometheus aka Adrian Chase is dead, fans are beginning to name drop famed Green Arrow villains. Name such as Joseph Wilson, Komodo and Red Star have been the three big names that have been trending over social media.

In the Season 5 finale, which aired on May 24, Oliver name dropped Slade’s son Joe Wilson in a conversation with Slade. Oliver presented Slade with a flash drive with information on Joe; including his current whereabouts. While imaging a lovely father/son reunion after so many years would be fantastic, it’s hard to imagine what kind of person Joe would be now. Slade and Joe have been separated for years, so a reunion would be incredibly interesting. Perhaps Joe would have some resentment for his father, for leaving him to go do his duty with ASIS.

Another villain that fans have been discussing is that of Kovar’s son, Red Star. Kovar was the main antagonist of the Season 5 flashbacks, hellbent on seeking revenge on Oliver. While Oliver may have killed Kovar, it would not be surprising if Red Star came back to avenge his father’s death; regardless of how many years later it is. I mean, you saw how long Prometheus held a grudge for.

Komodo aka Simon Lacroix was once the protégé of Robert Queen; employed at Queen Consolidated. In the comics, Komodo murdered Robert Queen but seeing as he is already dead on the show… it would certainly make for a unique twist and storyline.

Check back with us for more updates as Season 6 draws closer.

Arrow will return in October.
