‘Arrow’ Preview ‘The Recruits’
Last week Arrow finally returned to The CW in an epic season premiere. The Season 5 premiere episode had everything; from fantastic fighting sequences to a promising series of flashbacks. Following the conclusion of Season 4, Producers and cast members of the hit CW show promised that Arrow would be going ‘back to its roots’. Last week, it certainly did. The tone of the episode was dark and action packed, just like when the TV series first debuted 5 years ago. I’m looking forward to seeing what big things the cast and crew of Arrow have for us this year.
Episode 2, titled ‘The Recruits’, will definitely be a change of pace for us. While a good majority of the Arrow fan base stick to their beliefs that ‘Original Team Arrow’ (which consisted of Oliver, Felicity and John) was the best ‘Team Arrow’ to date, I am extremely curious to see what lies in store for Oliver and his new team.

SUIT UP — Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) new recruits for Team Arrow are Curtis (Echo Kellum), Wild Dog (guest star Rick Gonzalez) and Evelyn Sharp (guest star Madison McLaughlin). Unfortunately, the Green Arrow’s training methods prove to be too much for some of them to handle. Meanwhile, in the flashbacks, Oliver’s initiation into the Bratva continues.
Be sure to catch an all new episode of Arrow on Wednesday, October 13th at 8PM/EST on The CW.
