‘Arrow’ Preview ‘Canary Cry’

Since the beginning of
Season 4, we continued to ask the question
‘who is in the grave?’. In the
Arrow episode, Eleven-Fifty-
Nine
,
which aired on April 6th,
we finally got the answer. Damien

Darhk promised Captain Quentin Lance that if Lance went back on his
promise
to help Damien ‘better’
Star City, Laurel would pay
the price. Damien
stabbed Laurel with a broken arrow, ultimately killing
her. Fans across the
Arrowverse
mourned the passing of our beloved Black Canary. The final minutes of

Eleven-Fifty-Nine broke me, especially
when Captain Lance walked in and judging
from the look on Oliver’s face, he
knew Darhk went through with his

threat.

Arrow will be returning from its brief hiatus on

Wednesday, April 27th in an
episode to be titled ‘Canary Cry’. Check out the
episode description and
promo below!

Oliver
and the team struggle to come to terms with
Laurel’s death, especially Diggle

who is overwhelmed with guilt for choosing to believe Andy had changed.

Meanwhile, Lance refuses to
believe his daughter is really gone and asks Nyssa
to help bring her back. A
recent Black Canary sighting in
Star City only seems
to prove his theory that Laurel isn’t actually dead.

Black Canary sighting, huh?
Hmm…

After watching and re-watching
this
promo, my heart not only breaks for the Lance family, but also for John

Diggle. We all know how much
Diggle cares for his family and close friends
(who he considers to be
members of his family) and Laurel’s
death has him
completely overwhelmed with guilt. The preview has him
ordering Ruve Adams (aka
Ruve Darhk)
out of her limo, with a gun to her head. Diggle is going to need
Oliver and
the rest of his team now more
than ever, before he journeys down a
path to which there is no turning
back.

Alex
Kingston will be returning to the set, in her reprised role of
Dinah Lance.
Katrina Law will
also be returning, as one of our favorite assassins, Nyssa Al

Ghul.

Madison McLaughlin who once fought
demons as Supernatural‘s
teen hunter Krissy will now be
making her
appearance in the Arrowverse, casted in the mysterious role of
‘Rebecca’. For
those of us
who follow Stephen Amell on Twitter, he tweeted this cryptic tweet
shortly
after her casting was announced
back in February.

will be returning to the

Could Madison McLaughlin
be playing the role of the mysterious ‘black
canary’ that is said to be
sighted around Star City? Hmm.. we
will just have to
wait and see when Arrow returns on April 27th at
8PM/EST on The

CW!
