‘Arrow’: ‘Olicity’ in Crisis Mode?
For those of you who have been keeping up to date with one of our favorite hit CW shows Arrow, you know that one thing is for sure… “Olicity” is currently no more, for the moment. In fact, things are about to take quite the interesting turn.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Oliver will learn about Felicity’s boyfriend in the fifth episode of Season Five. Marc Guggenheim, executive producer on Arrow, told the site that “no secrets stay secret on Arrow forever.”
“Oliver’s going to find out about Felicity’s boyfriend in 505. Because I’m spoiling that, I’m not going to spoil when Felicity’s boyfriend finds out that Felicity is working with Arrow.”
Oliver meeting the love of his life’s new man? Talk about a crisis… or an arrow to the heart. Like most ‘Olicity’ fans, I’m not expecting this to go so well. Oliver and Felicity may not be together, but it is more than clear that Oliver is still head over heels in love with this girl, even if he doesn’t want to show it.
We first got a glimpse of Felicity’s boyfriend in the Season Five premiere episode, when he was waiting for her at her apartment after she came home from work. In episode 2, we learned that his name is Malone, and he works as a detective for the Star City Police Department.
Before Arrow returned for Season Five, Stephen Amell talked about his character’s reaction to the relationship. “I think he’ll be fine,” the actor joked. “I think he’ll be fine. He will hug a pillow, much like I’m hugging a pillow right now, but he’ll do it in private. He got shot with an arrow in the head? Don’t look at me!”
