‘Arrow’: Katrina Law messes with ‘Olicity’ Fans

For the past few seasons of Arrow, one of the largest topics that has been discussed is the pairing of ‘Olicity’. The romance between Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak was originally birthed by an immense portion of the fan-base, but once it actually happened, fans of the show seemed to split down the middle as to whether or not they liked the two as a couple. Felicity isn’t the only woman in Oliver’s life however; technically he is still betrothed to former League of Assassins member, Nyssa Al Ghul. Do they even have annulments for League of Assassins members? How would they annul that, I wonder? Katrina Law apparently likes to remind fans of this fact at every opportunity.
During a recent panel at an MCM Comic-Con Panel in London, Katrina Law admitted that she enjoys toying with ‘Olicity’ shippers by reminding fans of her marriage to Oliver:
One of my favorite things was when Nyssa came back on the scene and she kept calling Oliver ‘husband.’ And I knew online there was going to be this outrage. I kept getting these tweets being like ‘No, stay away from him!’ ‘No, Olicity forever!’ and I’d just be like ‘bwahahaha.’ Oh, no! Did she just say ‘husband’ again?! So that was a lot of fun.
Twitter didn’t take very kindly to Nyssa bringing this fact up on recent episodes this season, and Katrina Law has enjoyed every second of it.
