‘Arrow’: Deathstroke Confirmed for Season 6 in New Teaser Poster

If there is one tagline that all Arrow fans immediate think of when someone says the name ‘Deathstroke’, it is “I keep my promises!”

This line of course, is referring to the promise that Slade Wilson (Deathstroke) made to Oliver Queen to make him suffer tremendous pain, before ending Oliver’s life.

For those who have journeyed with Arrow since the beginning, you know that Slade was Oliver’s friend who was also stranded on Lian Yu in the flashbacks, before rising up and becoming Deathstroke; the Season 2 Big Bad.

After his defeat in the Season 2 finale, Slade was sent back to an A.R.G.U.S secured prison back on Lian Yu. He made a singular appearance in Season 3, when Malcolm set him free as a test for both Oliver and Thea.

This past season, when rumors began to circulate that Deathstroke would be returning, the Arrow fanbase began buzzing with pure excitement at the thought of their favorite villain returning. His return in the Season 5 finale was absolutely perfect; an appearance that we Arrow fans have been longing for so long.

Slade as trapped on the island with the rest of Team Arrow when the island came under an explosion, so it was a gigantic question as to whether or not Slade would survive. However, a recent trailer at SDCC confirms that we have a lot more Deathstroke coming our way. Well, that and the following poster which was tweeted and posted to Instagram by Manu himself:

Now, it would seem as though Oliver and Slade made amends back on the island. After providing Oliver provided Slade with information on the whereabouts of Joe Wilson, son of Slade, Slade assisted Oliver in his battle against Prometheus.

So now begs the question, in this upcoming Season will Slade once again be a friend to Oliver… or is this all part of some wicked trick?

Regardless, October cannot come soon enough!

Arrow returns on October 12, 2017 on the CW.
