‘Arrow’ 6.06 Title Revealed
And we now know the title of the sixth episode of Arrow season six!
SpoilerTV is reporting that 6.06 will be titled “Promises Kept.” The episode follows “Deathstroke Returns,” with “Promises Kept” presumably serving as a continuation of the Deathstroke story.
The title holds quite a bit of meaning to the Deathstroke arc as they were the last words spoken by Slade at the end of season two as Oliver locked his former friend up in ARGUS’ maximum security prison on Lian Yu. The dynamic seemed to have changed when they met again during the season five finale, as Oliver turned to Slade to help him get to the team and William. But who knows how their dynamic will build or deteriorate in the aftermath of the island explosion.
Manu Bennett also seemingly dropped another hint as he posted a new Deathstroke photo Friday evening.
Check out the photo below.
With a (very tiny) hint at what to expect for 6.06, might this also be the episode that Antonio Negret will be returning to direct? The Arrow fan-favorite director tweeted that he will be returning to a Vancouver-based series to direct an episode. Check out the tweet below.
Mahalo #Hawaii, you’ve been awesome. Up next? #Vancouver…#CanYouGuessTheShow? #Soon

I guess we’ll figure out soon enough!
Arrow returns Thursday, October 12 at 9 p.m. on the CW.
What do you think of the episode title? And do you think this will be the episode that Antonio Negret returns to direct?
