‘Arrow’: 100th Episode teases return of ‘Big Bad’
Arrow has introduced some pretty phenomenal villains over the years, but one of the most iconic and recognizable villains we have seen on the show is definitely Deathstroke. Slade Wilson terrorized Oliver on all fronts during Season 2; leaving quite a traumatic impact on Oliver’s life. Following Oliver’s decision to spare Slade’s life instead of killing him, we have not seen much of Slade since Arrow Season 3. However, Stephen Amell recently posted a few teasing images to Twitter, which seems to confirm that we will be getting a Deathstroke this upcoming Season:

A question we are now faced with is which version of Deathstroke will we be seeing in Season 5? Now that Barry has gone back and changed the entire timeline in The Flash, who knows what kind of ripple effect this will have on Arrow? A version of Deathstroke showed up in the Star City episode of Legends of Tomorrow when Slade’s son (Grant Wilson) took up his father’s place in the villainous role. Some fans have begun speculating that this could be some twisted version of Earth 2 and that on this Earth, Oliver himself could be Deathstroke in that world.
Either way, I am stoked for the return of Deathstroke, whichever version he may be.
