Ariana Grande will Return to Manchester for a Benefit Concert

On May 22nd, a violent terrorist attack was carried out in one of the places that people go to find solace and safety. Music is the universal language and it is supposed to bring people together, to bridge gaps and to fill voids, and its sanctuary has been threatened. Unfortunately, it’s not the first time something like this has happened during a concert and the times before this one were impossible to make sense of, but this was extremely hard to process because it was such a senseless act of violence. but this was extremely hard to process. Concert-goers and even parents and loved ones who went to pick them up were injured and killed at the Ariana Grande show in Manchester, and those who survived won’t ever forget what happened.

Ariana herself won’t ever forget either. As the names, ages, and bits of information about the victims have been revealed; we see so many young lives lost and the ability to begin to make sense of something this tragic becomes even more impossible. The truth is, you can’t understand evil, but you can stand against it. This is what Ariana is choosing to do.

On her Twitter account, she posted a note for everyone who was affected by the attack and it came right from the heart.

Instead of letting anyone stop what she hopes to do with her music, she’s taking a stand and she’s doing so for her fans. Ariana is a huge fan of the people who support her, as big a one of them as hey are of her. She is a person who constantly talks about how much her fans mean to her, how proud she is of them, and how much she loves them. For these reasons and then some, she is going back to Manchester and putting on another concert, this time, for the victims, their families, and those who have been left scared, wounded, and scarred by the experience.

The concert has been rumored to be happening on June 4th with confirmation happening this morning as well as announcements for other musicians and celebrities who will help put on the show.  Names like Usher, Katy Perry, Niall Horan, and Justin Bieber will help Ariana bring some type of hope to those in attendance as well as raising money for everyone affected by the tragedy.

The fact that she’s returning shows how important it is to not let hate win. Immediately after her show, she returned home to be with family – now, she’s going to help families and supporters.

On top of the benefit, she’s reached out to families on her own accord to help them pay for expenses and she’s contacted other musicians and celebrities to help with the Manchester event. We’re sure that the families and friends and also fans across the world who have sent their well-wishes and assisted with donations will be touched by Ariana’s gesture. For someone so young, she’s got a lot of heart and strength, her fans possess those same qualities and it’s what’s made it possible to navigate through this tragedy.
