Anthony Mackie on Having a ‘Moment’ With Beyonce
We love people with an incredible sense of humor, and Anthony Mackie’s got it. When he joined James Corden yesterday, alongside Judy Greer, the bunch got to chatting about Coachella.
The festival, while music focused is certainly celebrity-centric. It’s also held in the desert of sunny California and Mackie just can’t get behind the idea.
Greer, on the other hand, loved her trip to Coachella this year. Sharing photos beforehand of an IV (you know…to keep hydrated all weekend) and at the festival surrounded by port-o-potties. That was too much for Mackie.
‘Bruh, it’s 2018. We have air conditioned venues. They have bars, and seats, and people in their seats.’
He went on to talk about how Coachella is also a lot of heat, drinking, and people who don’t smell…well…like roses. He prefers those inside venues for that reason, too.
‘I like air conditioned people. You put your smell good on, you show up, we both got our smell good on. You smell good, you smell good too.’
The conversation was directed to Beyonce and well, Mackie totally had a moment with her during a concert at Madison Square Garden.
He might match that couch, but once Beyonce thinks you’re cute, you can match sofas all day. No one else’s opinion matters.
