Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman’s ‘Making It’ Renewed for Season 2

Parks and Recreation castmates Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman will be returning for a second season of their crafty competition show Making It! The series officially announced its season two renewal today via the show’s social media pages.

Poehler and Offerman host the series which pits DIYer contestants against each other on different crafty tasks. Making It is the perfect blend of wholesome comedy (which often involves hilariously creative puns) and reality television competition. Fans have fallen in love with the new series, which was basically a shoe-in for a season two renewal.

On Tuesday, the Making It twitter account made the announcement which certainly brightened up a dreary day. The official account tweeted, “More crafts. 🎨 More laughs.😂 More #MakingIt. 🎉 Are you just SEW excited right now???”

As NBC explains, “each episode of Making It will consist of two projects, cleverly designed by Poehler and Offerman, that test the Makers’ ability to think outside of the box. The challenges are also designed to bring out skilled insights and takeaway, touching personal stories and lots of laughs.

First, the faster-craft round will be a timed challenge that will test their ability to not only work quickly but imaginatively as well. Next, the Makers will move to the master craft collection, a one-of-a-kind themed challenge in which the competitors will need to use their expertise and get inventive in order to assemble a winning craft that fits the theme of that week. In the end, only one will emerge victoriously and be named Master Maker.”

Making It is currently airing on NBC Tuesday nights at 10 pm EST!
