‘American Horror Story’ Season 8 to be set in the Future

Fans of American Horror Story have been to the asylum, the murder house, the hotel, and the freak show. Now, AHS fans are going to…the future. The first question that might come to your mind is how, and we’re sorry to say that Ryan Murphy isn’t telling. All we know is that he’s extremely excited about the idea he’s come up with so far.

EW reports that Murphy mentioned the series going to the future and that he’s already run the idea by an FX executive.

‘All I’ll say about it is I want to go to the future — still topical, but the future, which I’ve never done.’

Before conversation went any further, he clarified that he doesn’t mean that the series is going to space. Which is good because, like, we love everything he’s done with the series so far, but that would be very out there.

‘I pitched it to John Landgraf today right after his TCA panel, and he loved it, but he’s asked me not to say what it is. I told him and he fell out of his chair with joy. I think people will like it, it’s different from what we’ve done before, but I always try and do the opposite of what I’ve done on that show.’

So we won’t find out what’s happening until the season is here, which is to be expected, but that won’t stop fans from coming up with some theories until then. So why not, what do you think is coming in season 8 of American Horror Story? Let us know.
