‘American Horror Story: Roanoke’ Preview ‘Chapter 5’

After the horror of the last episode, it’s hard to imagine that AHS could get anymore…well, horrific. The fact of the matter is that the terror is only just beginning.
With Cricket now lost to the Forest Cult, Matt and Shelby have nowhere else to turn. They must face the the wrath of The Butcher, The Witch, and the Lost Colony all on their own.
“You could feel the house coming alive around you,” Shelby says at one point in the preview for next week’s episode.
Immediately after, we see the Forest Cult claiming the land and mobilizing toward the home. Will Matt and Shelby face the same fate as Cricket? And there’s still Flora to worry about…
And more importantly, what’s happened to Lee? She doesn’t make an appearance in this preview and she was conspicuously missing from the last episode. We don’t yet know the status of her story and it’s more than a little disconcerting. Perhaps, by some divine intervention or lack of criminal evidence, the cops will free her and she’ll be the one to swoop in and save the day.
