AMC FearFest 2017 Start Date and Film List Revealed
Summer is officially coming to an end. There’s a hint of fall in the air and Halloween will be here before you know it. What better way to gear up for our favorite time of the year than with a classic scary movie marathon!
In the weeks leading up to the spookiest night of the year, AMC will once again be running its annual FearFest programming. Every year, since 1996, AMC FearFest (originally called MonsterFest) airs a marathon of horror films and, thanks to Bloody Disgusting, we have the scoop on which films will be aired this year.
First off, there is some bad news. This year, AMC FearFest will only be running for about one week, from October 23rd through October 31st. The reason for the shortened event is due to AMC programming be pushed back this year. With The Walking Dead premiering on October 22nd, later than usual, AMC is devoting the entire week prior to airing a marathon of the series leading up to season 8 and the iconic 100th episode.
Even though AMC FearFest is shorter, the lineup of films is still just as impressive as ever! One thing worth noting is that the line up is said to include the brand new film Cult of Chucky. Cult of Chucky is being released on October 3rd so this is a real treat for horror fans! Check out the anticipated line up of films below:
