‘Alien’ Director Ridley Scott Thinks Aliens are VERY Real

Legendary Alien Director, Ridley Scott, has been the mastermind when it comes to terrifying the human race with his eerie extraterrestrial films. It all started with the original 1979 film, Alien, which starred actress Sigourey Weaver and actor Tom Skerritt and now it continues with the upcoming film Alien: Covenant, which is set to release next month.

Even though the plot is purely fictional, there are hundreds and thousands of believers that creatures such as these aliens really exist- one of them being Director Ridley Scott himself!

In an interview SkyNews, the director stated he believes there are other forms of life out there in the universe:

“I believe in superior beings. I think it is certainly likely.  An expert I was talking to at NASA said to me ‘have you ever looked in the sky at night? You mean to tell me we are it?’ That’s ridiculous. The experts have now put a number on it having assessed what is out there. They say that there are between 100 and 200 entities that could be having a similar evolution to us right now.”

I’m curious to wonder if Scott always believed that aliens were really out there, leading him to the creation of the Alien films; or if it is something he came to believe on his filming journey. Regardless, he DOES believe that the aliens won’t be coming in peace if they decide to come to earth.

“So when you see a big thing in the sky, run for it. Because they are a lot smarter than we are, and if you are stupid enough to challenge them you will be taken out in three seconds.”

So despite these thoughts, is Scott concerned about aliens coming to visit us?? Nope- not even the slightest.

“Nothing scares me. I have a 9mm.” Scott stated.

Alien: Covenant is set to release in theaters May 19 2017.
