Alec Baldwin, First-Time Grandfather, Celebrates

Alec Baldwin, renowned actor from “30 Rock,” joyfully embraces new role as a grandfather. The heartfelt message came from his wife, Hilaria, who took to Instagram to congratulate their daughter Ireland on the arrival of her own daughter, named Holland.
Expressing their excitement, Hilaria shared a photo of the couple surrounded by their seven children, exclaiming, “All of these aunties and uncles and us grandparents are so excited that Holland is here!!! Congratulations to the mama and papa, Ireland and Andre. We love you so very much!”
Ireland, aged 27, is Baldwin’s daughter from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger. She and her rapper boyfriend, RAC (André Allen Anjos), revealed the news on Instagram, posting a photo of RAC by her side in the hospital bed, while the newborn’s face remained covered. The simple caption read, “holland.”

This joyous occasion comes as Baldwin, now 65, has faced controversy over the past two years. During the filming of the movie “Rust” in New Mexico, a firearm he was handling accidentally discharged, tragically resulting in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on October 21, 2021. Baldwin initially faced charges of involuntary manslaughter, but they were subsequently dropped, pending further investigation.
Despite the ongoing legal challenges, Baldwin’s relationship with his daughter Ireland appears to have healed since his highly publicized divorce from Basinger 16 years ago. In the midst of the divorce, an infamous leaked voicemail revealed Baldwin making derogatory remarks about his young daughter. However, in recent years, the pair seemed to have reconciled, even humorously referencing the incident on social media and during a roast for the actor.

Baldwin, on occasions like Mother’s Day, publicly acknowledges the importance of the women in his life, including his wife Hilaria, daughter Ireland, and his late mother. Meanwhile, Basinger has also expressed her love for Ireland and her anticipation for the birth of her granddaughter through heartfelt Instagram posts.
In addition to their growing family, Hilaria and Alec welcomed their youngest daughter, Ilaria, last September. Alongside Ilaria, their brood includes Carmen, 9, Raphael, 7, Leo, 6, Romeo, 5, Eduardo, 2, and Maria, 2.
