Tom Sizemore’s health continues to deteriorate since he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition on February 18th. The Saving Private Ryan star has been in a deep coma and is under intensive care for an alleged brain aneurysm brought about by a stroke. Charles Lago, his manager, issued another update concerning Tom’s situation through a statement released to Deadline.

“Today, doctors informed his family that there is no further hope and have recommended end of life decision,” Lago said in a statement. “The family is now deciding end of life matters and a further statement will be issued on Wednesday.”

Lago expressed his profound gratitude to those who have been praying for the actor and requested their continued respect of privacy as his family’s situation is being resolved. In the early hours of that morning, Sizemore was quickly taken to a hospital due to having suffered an aneurysm.

“He was found to be suffering from a brain aneurism that occurred as a result of a stroke,” the statement added. “Since that day, Tom has remained in critical condition, in a coma and in intensive care.”

From the late ’80s until now, Tom Sizemore has graced us with a plethora of iconic roles other than his part in the WWII epic. Whenever we see him on screen, it’s sure to be an exceptional movie!

From undercover cop in Point Break to sleazy detective in True Romance and the ruthless bank robber from Heat, Keanu Reeves’ latest film recently premiered with its makers expressing their gratitude towards him. His diverse roles have helped shape his reputation as a critically-acclaimed actor.

“The producers, cast, and crew of his latest movie, Impuratus, are devastated by this news and send heartfelt prayers to Tom and his family,” producer Guy Quigley said. “All of us are looking forward to celebrating Tom at The County Theater in Doylestown on Sunday, Feb. 26, for the indie film’s first public screening.”

Despite the difficulties Sizemore has encountered throughout his life, there is no evidence that substance abuse was a factor in this particular hospital admission.
