Trailer Track was giving us something we were going to be very excited about in the coming weeks! According to them, we are getting a new trailer from the anticipated DC Comics movie, Shazam!
People on Reddit were already losing their mind, mainly because they made a short version of the trailer a few weeks ago for TV spot services. The director David F. Sandberg, however, burst a little bit of that happy bubble we were living in and told them through Reddit that it’s not necessarily a ‘new’ trailer.
“Love the enthusiasm but there’s no new trailer yet. Just different versions of the existing one. And the almost 3 minute one that’s online is the longest with everything in it.” – David F. Sandberg on Reddit
We were hoping on a new trailer before December, and we might still get one, but I doubt it will be with new material, as Sandberg himself said it would be a shorter version of what already is out in the open. No matter what, I cannot wait to see what they did with it. This movie is one to get excited for, let April be here quick!
Shazam!, starring Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Grace Fulton, Mark Strong, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Jack Dylan Grazer, Faithe Herman, and Djimon Hounsou will hit the theater on April 5, 2019.

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam, courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.
