A New Comedy Brings Ginnifer Goodwin Back to ABC
It looks like Ginnifer Goodwin is heading back to her TV home sooner than we expected! It was just announced that Goodwin would be returning to ABC, the network where she spent six years playing Mary Margaret Blanchard on Once Upon a Time, to star in a new comedy called Steps.
ABCSteps follows a new kind of modern family and revolves around “four adults in three houses who raise three kids after two divorces together.” It sounds a little confusing, but Goodwin will be playing Bea, “a modern hippie who is in tune with her spirit and a great listener. She is a parent coach, making her perhaps the most equipped to handle three kids with her new husband, Paul, her ex-husband, and his ex-wife.”
The pilot will be written by Kristin Newman (The Muppets) who will executive produce alongside David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman and Laurie Zaks. Todd Holland will direct.
Are you excited to see Goodwin back on TV?
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
