Shocking Death On ‘The Walking Dead’
AMC’s The Walking Dead left fans shocked at the end of tonight’s episode, ‘Open Your Eyes’! Fan theories have been buzzing the past two weeks about a potential whisperer spy in Alexandria. And, the fans were right!
SPOILERS ABOUND! YOU ARE WARNED!
Rosita’s love-interest and resident doctor, Siddiq (Avi Nash) was murdered at the end of the episode by none other than Dante, the new smooth-talking doctor. Residents of Alexandria continued to get sick and Siddiq continued to suffer serious PTSD from witnessing the death of his friends at the hands of Alpha and the Whisperers. With his memories flashing before his eyes, he realized too late that Dante was this Whisperer who forced him to open his eyes and witness the death of Enid (Katelyn Nacon).
As shocking as it was, fans are asking if Siddiq’s life is worth what Carl (Chandler Riggs) sacrificed when suffering a walker bite that ultimately led to his fate? This Walking Dead fan doesn’t think so. Carl was the future of The Walking Dead and his story was probably the most vital to the long-term success of the show and the greater story.
However, now we know there’s a Whisperer within the community but how is Dante relaying information back to Alpha and the others? What does this mean for the fate of the rest of our Survivors and is it Dante’s mission to slowly pick off each of them one at a time?
