Greg Nicotero to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award at NYC Horror Film Festival
Greg Nicotero is one hell of a guy. He’s a producer, director and we can’t forget that he’s an FX guru!
He is the creative force behind tons of our favorite horror movies and TV shows. Because of that, he will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 17th annual New York City Film Festival in the horror genre.
Other notable honorees include George A. Romero, Tobe Hooper, Wes Craven, Adrienne Barbeau, Tony Todd, Roger Corman, Tom Savini and Robert Englund.
Nicotero got his start with Romero in his 1985 hit Day of the Dead. Not stopping, Nicotero has worked on fan favorites like From Dusk til Dawn, Army of Darkness, Annabelle, and tons more. Most recently, he is known for his outstanding work on AMC’s The Walking Dead and for revamping Creepshow as its showrunner.
You can catch Greg Nicotero’s Creepshow on Shudder as well as Season 10 of The Walking Dead on AMC.
Congratulations Greg!
