‘Young Sheldon’ Recap “A Broom Closet and Satan’s Monopoly Board”
Pastor Jeff asks Mary to be his conscience when it comes to him starting up a new relationship. He’s asking for help to uphold his preaching.
Sheldon has been skipping class to hide in a broom closet. He apparently teaches himself more than he learns in class. George calls Mary, who is busy helping Pastor Jeff pick out date clothes and tells him to take care of it. You go girl! They into a fight over who does what in the house.
Meemaw suggests that Sheldon is acting up because he doesn’t have his college class to go to. She pulls some strings and gets Sheldon into Dr. Linkletter’s class. Sheldon and his dislike of change make the class less than pleasant for everyone else.
George meets Wayne at the bar to cool off. Wayne suggests he take Mary on a date to show his appreciation. They go out and have a great time reconnecting.
While home alone, Missy and Georgie break out the Ouji Board. Pastor Jeff calls and Missy, scared about playing with an Ouji Board, lies to Pastor Jeff. Scared she’s going to hell, she calls him back to confess, saying that God sees all. This sparks Pastor Jeff to refrain from straying from the path.
This episode was cute. I enjoyed everyone being intertwined in the story and it not being Sheldon centered. Some times he’s too much. George was so sweet (bf takes notes) trying to reconnect with Mary and Missy saving Pastor Jeff was too perfect.
