Millie Bobby Brown is teaming up with her big sis, Paige, for a new Netflix movie.
A Time Lost is based on an original story by Millie and Paige and will focus on a feud between two Long Island families that boils over when one of the teenage daughters is diagnosed with cancer, according to Variety.
“We are so grateful to Netflix for their confidence in us and this beautiful story, which we have spent years writing and developing,” the sisters said. “It’s about friendship, family, and overcoming obstacles when it feels like the world is pushing you down. It’s been a labor of love, literally.”
Anna Klassen (Dark Hours: Roxana), an up-and-coming Netflix writer is set to adapt the story with Brown producing the project. Paige and father, Robert Brown are set to executive produce.
No actors have been cast yet, although we can hope to see Brown onscreen.
“Millie is an extraordinary creative talent. We’ve been lucky to have her in our family from the beginning of her career,” said Lisa Nishimura, VP of independent film and documentary features for Netflix. “It is a genuine thrill to witness Millie bring her distinct vision to the screen, now as a writer and producer, alongside her sister on this wonderful film.”
There is also no word yet on a release date or when production will begin.
