Marvel Announces the Release Date for ‘Black Panther 2’
Are you ready to head back to Wakanda? Marvel has just announced the release date to the record-breaking film Black Panther.
Over the weekend, Marvel head Kevin Feige took the stage at Disney’s D23 Expo. It was there that he announced a multitude of Marvel goodness including the exciting news that Black Panther 2 will be heading to theaters on May 6, 2022.
Director Ryan Coogler was on hand to help Feige deliver the news. Coogler will be returning to direct the sequel as well. You can check out the announcement below from Feige, as well as the epic reveal of the cast of Marvel’s The Eternals:

The first Black Panther film shattered box office records during its original theatrical release receiving high praise from both fans and critics. From the time the film was in previews, critics had already created a buzz about possible Oscar nominations for the film. The film was ultimately nominated for the Best Picture category at the Academy Awards along with six other nominations. It took home three wins for Best Original Score, Best Costume and Best Production Design.
