Hailed as a spin-off of Hallmark Channel’s popular series When Calls the Heart, the new series hopes to endear fans with similar themes. Viewers can expect a healthy dose of heart, faith, and humanity from When Hope Calls.

Let’s take a look inside the new series with details published recently by Crown Media Family Networks. Find out how and when to watch.

Who we can expect

We have already met leading ladies Lillian and Grace who made a stop in Hope Valley during the Christmas special When Calls the Heart: The Greatest Christmas Blessing. We learned that Lillian and Grace were orphaned as children and spent much of their life apart from one another. They now have the opportunity to reunite as sisters and welcome other orphans into their care at the their own orphanage.

Fans will also meet Lillian and Grace’s suitors. Gabriel is the local Mountie who is interested in Lillian. Grace will be seen spending time with a ranch hand named Chuck. Chuck’s mother, Tess, will also have a presence on screen. Tess is a friend of Lillian’s, but apparently something has recently put a strain on their relationship.

Lillian is played by Morgan Kohan while Jocelyn Hudon portrays Grace. Ryan-James Hatanaka and Greg Hovanessian play Gabriel and Chuck, respectively. Finally, Wendy Crewson brings Tess to life on screen.
