‘Shazam!’: Deleted Scene May Hint at Black Adam’s Arrival

Credits: DC Comics

The Shazam! movie has finally hit your home on July 2 on Digital with his thunder and lightning! Now everyone can enjoy Zachary Levi’s and Asher Angel’s portrayal of the superhero. Or if you’re waiting for the real thing, of course, you’ll have to wait a few weeks longer.

Every fan was waiting for at least a small Black Adam cameo, or an extra credit scene where is arrival would be teased. We weren’t in luck, but I’m pretty sure The Wizard (Djimon Hounsou) teased a previous champion, who shares a lot of traits of Black Adam, which is an ideal set-up for the Black Adam movie they started working on and will probably begin filming next year.

With a new home release, comes a lot of extras that we fans can enjoy. Someone on Twitter (@4eyedRaven) posted a deleted scene that can potentially hint directly at Black Adam’s place in the lair. The scene starts where the Shazam-fam takes their position on the thrones. Mary soon discovers the 7th empty throne. The scene ends with the camera zooming in on the throne. Take a look at the scene below:

It leaves a lot to the imagination, mainly because this scene got cut from the movie. Whatever this may mean, Black Adam will eventually appear on the screen. We may have to wait a little while longer!

What do you think this scene means? Do you think this could mean the arrival of another character in the future? Or do you feel like there are too many signs of the Black Adam storyline? Lets us know in the comments below.

Shazam! is out on Digital now and will get released on DVD and Blu-Ray on July 16.
