A Bunch Of Handprints Are Slowly Revealing Playstation’s ‘Death Stranding’ Announcement On Twitch
I truly do not know what the heck is going on. That is true for most of the things I get from Hideo Kojima. The famed game maker confirmed we would be getting something new for Death Stranding today. Right now if you stop by the PlayStation Twitch page though there are handprints adding up, showing little pieces of rolling footage.
Earlier this week Kojima showed a similar image on Twitter-

Now as I sit and watch there are less handprints on the screen. Some think if enough viewers stop in more of the screen will be revealed through the handprints. Others think spamming hand icons in the chat may do it. The craziest thing is we do not know, yet there are over forty six thousand people waiting to see what will happen. I have been in here for thirty minutes so that shows you the power of a game created by Hideo Kojima.
There are some rumors this is going to be another State of Play by Sony, which makes sense for them as it gets them close to E3 without being there. Sony had already announced PlayStation would not be at E3 and there were no presentations they had for the week of either. It makes sense to drop something right when people are looking for new information or leaks heading into one of the biggest gaming events of the year.
Death Stranding is a… game. No one knows what it is. Maybe Hideo Kojima. It stars Norman Reedus, Mads Mikklesen, Guillermo del Toro, and several other big name actors. Just what they will do in this title we hopefully will know more about in the coming hours. As for a release we are still in the dark, at least until a few more handprints show up.
