Supergirl Preview ‘Crime and Punishment’
Supergirl returns for the last 5 episodes of the season, and things aren’t looking good for Kara.
Thanks to a copy of Supergirl falling into Lex Luthor’s hands, he was able to hatch a plan in which Supergirl becomes public enemy #1. The Syrian Supergirl attacked the White House, then fled the scene, allowing Kara to take the fall. Thankfully, Alex and Lena both believe that the real Supergirl would never just attack innocent people. They will stand by her and help discover the truth. Even Colonel Haley believes that Supergirl wouldn’t do this. With Alex and Lena on her side, Kara will be able to find out what really happened at the White House and what Lex and Eve are planning.
Following the attack, Ben Lockwood has been given more power, and it’s time for him to become Agent Liberty once more. He will stop at nothing to prove that aliens are a threat, and Lex just gifted him the ultimate prize with Supergirl’s attack. He takes the fight to the DEO, convinced that they know who and where she is. Since Kara had J’onn wipe everyone’s memories, he won’t be able to get information from just any DEO agent. I guess Lockwood realizes that because she goes for Brainy. Lockwood will put the pressure on him, and will probably be even more ruthless in his interrogation when he realizes that Brainy is an alien.
