If you’re already missing Katelyn Nacon on your television screens, you’re in luck! According to Deadline, the actress, who just recently wrapped a four year run on The Walking Dead, has signed on to join the cast of Hulu’s supernatural teen thriller Light as a Feather for its second season. While some of the characters from the first season will be returning for its sophomore run, Nacon and eight others including Teen Wolf’s Froy Gutierrez, Atlanta’s Adriyan Rae and The Thundermans Kira Kosarin are rounding out the new cast.
Light as a Feather follows a group of teenage girls who must deal with supernatural fallout stemming from an innocent game of “Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board” when they start dying off in the exact way predicted. The series was based on Zoe Aarsen’s book of the same name and was adapted for television by R. Lee Fleming Jr, who also served as showrunner. He will continue as showrunner for season 2 and will also write and executive produce. Season one starred a cast including Liana Liberato, Haley Ramm, Ajiona Alexus, Brianne Tju, Peyton List, Jordan Rodrigues, Dylan Sprayberry, and Brent Rivera
Nacon confirmed the news on her Twitter account, introducing her new character named Sammi.
Nacon’s first acting credit was 2013’s Psychology of Secrets and in 2015 she booked the role of Enid on The Walking Dead. Her character grew from a newcomer no one was sure they could trust to one of the community doctors who often took on a leadership role. While it felt like there was still some story to tell, her character met an untimely death on the latest season of the series. She also appeared on [email protected] from 2016-2108.
Are you excited for Nacon’s next project? Be sure to catch her on Light as a Feather when season 2 hits Hulu!
