‘The Good Doctor’ Season 2 Finale Preview – ‘Trampoline’

Last Monday, the hearts of The Good Doctor viewers everywhere were breaking for our beloved Dr. Shaun Murphy. Shaun has gotten himself into the toughest situation that he’s dealt with yet when the new Chief of Surgery, Dr. Jackson Han, terminated him after an intense outburst.

Having been removed from the surgical team, and transferred to pathology, Shaun confronted Dr. Han demanding his reinstatement in the operating room. When Dr. Han refused to budge on his actions, Shaun became increasingly more aggressive and refused to leave Han’s office leaving Dr. Han no choice but to call security to escort Shaun from the building.

Of course, this was absolutely devastating to Shaun, and bravo to Freddie Highmore for a captivating, heart-breaking, and stellar performance in last week’s final scenes. You can watch Highmore’s intense performance in the final minutes of last week’s episode below.

Monday’s season two finale is an episode that the fandom certainly is NOT prepared to watch. Naturally, Shaun is not handling his dismissal from San Jose St. Bonaventure well at all, and he finds himself in a ton of trouble when he goes to drown his sorrows at a local bar. He has an altercation with a patron while at the bar in which he becomes injured and has to seek treatment back at the hospital. Limlendez fans should be happy with the couple’s storyline in the season finale. Dr. Melendez and Dr. Lim will be making their relationship official and public, which undoubtedly won’t happen without challenges from Dr. Andrews and the hospital’s administration.

Make sure you grab cases of tissues, wine or whatever comforts you’ll need to get through what’s sure to be an emotional season two finale of The Good Doctor. Check out the official synopsis and preview of the episode titled Trampoline below.
