Daniel Sharman & More Join Katherine Langford in Netflix Series ‘Cursed’

Fear the Walking Dead and Teen Wolf alum Daniel Sharman has joined the upcoming Netflix series Cursed, which is already set to star 13 Reasons Why’s Katherine Langford. According to DeadlineSharman’s name was announced alongside Devon Terrell (Barry), Gustaf Skarsgård (Westworld), Peter Mullan (Ozark), Lily Newmark (Sex Education), Shalom Brune-Franklin (Our Girl), Sebastian Armesto (Poldark), Emily Coates (Flack), Catherine Walker (The Delinquent Season) and Billy Jenkins (The Crown) who are all joining the cast as well.

Cursed is “a re-imagination of the Arthurian legend, told through the eyes of Nimue. It is a coming-of-age story whose themes include the obliteration of the natural world, religious terror, senseless war, and finding the courage to lead in the face of the impossible.” Langford will be playing Nimue, “a teenage heroine with a mysterious gift who is destined to become the powerful Lady of the Lake,” but details surrounding Sharman’s character and more are still being kept under wraps.

Frank Miller co-created the series with Tom Wheeler who will serve as both writer and showrunner. Wheeler also has plans to write a companion book titled Cursed with illustrations from Miller. It is set to be published in the Fall of 2019. Zetna Fuentes, who has directed shows like One Life to Live, Bosch, How to Get Away with Murder, and Jessica Jones, will step behind the camera for Cursed and executive produce the first two episodes.

It was recently announced that Sharman would be returning to Fear the Walking Dead in some capacity for season five. Other credits include starring as Lorenzo de’ Medici on Medici: The Magnificent, Teen Wolf, The Originals, The Collection, and Immortals.
