NBC Renews ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ For Season 7

The Nine-Nine is coming back for more! Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been fully embraced and beloved by its new network and was officially renewed for season seven earlier this week. The cast was given the news while at a table read for an upcoming episode and their reactions were exactly what you’d expect from the merry bunch. Check it out below!

The Andy Samberg-led comedy has been a critical darling since its 2013 premiere, which is why Fox’s abrupt decision to cancel it last year caused an uproar amongst fans. Thankfully, NBC stepped in and saved the series leading it to have its highest season premiere in two years.

Despite the network change, everything about Brooklyn Nine-Nine has remained the same. From its theme song to its writing and tone, the series didn’t skip a beat. The only big shift that took place was the exit of series regular Chelsea Peretti in an early season 6 episode. The actress had announced her decision to leave the show back in October with a note on social media.

Shortly after the annoucment, the cast began celebrating on socials!
