Will Smith is one of the faces I always saw on my television screen while growing up. To say I was excited to hear that they were making a third movie of the Bad Boys franchise, was an understatement. It became even more excited when I knew 2 Belgian directors (Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi) were put up for the job to make this movie.
Will Smith took to his YouTube channel to show the start of production of the third installment. It immediately starts when you see them taking pictures they’ll use for in the movie and their faces photoshopped on other movie posters (the Big Daddy one nearly suffocated me in my own laughter). The video is a little over 10 minutes long and includes a view of the table reads they did (accompanied by a sort of Friends theme song) and Will Smith getting an office and a script. What I liked about this video is that Will Smith gave a camera to the two directors who gave a view through the first week of productions, showing how hard they work and some fun they encountered on the way.
You can watch the full movie full of hilarious moments below:
We might not have a synopsis yet, and not much is known, other than the production of the film is in Atlanta, but knowing that Martin Lawrence and Will Smith still had the same chemistry on set as in the previous two movies is already a good sign.
I’m sure Will Smith will keep us up to date about how the movie is progressing throughout the year. What did you think of the video? Let us know in the comments below.
Bad Boys For Life will hit the theaters on January 17, 2020.
