‘The Good Doctor’ Season 2 Episode Preview – ‘Aftermath’

The quarantine might be over, but the fallout is just beginning!

Last week, The Good Doctor returned with an explosive conclusion to its midseason finale. With the hospital under quarantine due to a deadly virus, the San Jose St. Bonaventure surgical team sprang into action to save the day. Along with their heroic efforts, some rules were broken, and this Monday’s episode, Aftermath, focuses on three doctors at risk of losing their licenses. Additionally, Dr. Shaun Murphy and Lea are trying to boost Dr. Aaron Glassman’s spirits with some fun go-kart action! Oh, this could get very interesting!

Meanwhile, as Dr. Audrey Lim (Christina Chang) recovers from the virus, she and Dr. Neil Melendez (Nicholas Gonzalez) navigate their new personal and working relationship, while Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) and Dr. Aaron Glassman (Richard Schiff) try to relax and visit Lea (Paige Spara) at work.”[/row]

The Good Doctor stars Freddie Highmore as Dr. Shaun Murphy, a young surgeon at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital with autism and savant syndrome. In addition to Highmore, the series also stars Antonia Thomas as Dr. Claire Browne, Nicholas Gonzalez as Dr. Neil Melendez, Hill Harper as Dr. Marcus Andrews, Richard Schiff as Dr. Aaron Glassman, Tamlyn Tomita as Allegra Aoki, Christina Chang as Dr. Audrey Lim, Fiona Gubelmann as Dr. Morgan Reznick, Will Yun Lee as Dr. Alex Park and Paige Spara as Lea.

The series is created by David Shore who also serves executive producer along with Daniel Dae Kim, David Kim, Erin Gunn, and Sebastian Lee.

Guest starring is Sharon Leal as Breeze Brown, Jennifer Birmingham Lee as Mia Wuellner, Ricky He as Kellan Park, Cheryl White as Carmen Dunn and Garfield Wilson as Carnell Hunter.

Aftermath was written by Thomas L. Moran and directed by Dawn Wilkinson.
