We Cannot Thank Hilarie Burton Enough For This Golden Globes Tweet
This pretty lady here is Hilarie Burton. Not only is she an extremely talented actress (One Tree Hill, Lifetime’s best Christmas movie of 2018), but she’s a real-life superhero thanks to all of her philanthropic work with Astor Services, which provides children’s mental health and welfare services.
She’s also a farmer extraordinaire, a hardworking mom, and one of the most wholesome celebrities on social media. Seriously, go follow her.

Oh, and she’s married to The Walking Dead’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan, which is what happens to have brought us here today.
During Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards ceremony, I was perusing all of the jokes and commentary on Twitter when I happened upon a tweet by Burton that had me beaming…mainly because it combined two of my favorite silver foxes: Steve Carell and, of course, Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
Is @SteveCarell dressed as @JDMorgan tonight??
I’m good with it. pic.twitter.com/mmeJ3JMOgK— Hilarie Burton (@HilarieBurton) January 7, 2019
Please draw your attention to that last part…
“I’m good with it.”
While I’m not entirely sure if Burton was referring to a specific look, for reference, here was Morgan at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards.
And here he is dressed to the nines in last year’s Rampage.
And here’s Steve Carell presenting Carol Burnett with the inaugural Carol Burnett Award at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards.
While they certainly aren’t going to star in a quasi-reboot of The Parent Trap, I, like Hilarie Burton, am totally good with looking at a picture of the handsome Steve Carell and thinking about the equally as handsome Jeffrey Dean Morgan. So, thank you, Hilarie!
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
