New ‘Captain Marvel’ Video Will Inspire You To Jump Into 2019

Marvel and Captain Marvel are encouraging fans to jump into 2019 by going “higher, further, faster.”

The motto is Carol Danvers’, and now it’s become a hashtag for you to use if you are so inspired to.

Captain Marvel will also appear at all the Disney Parks and Cruise line starting next week for Marvel Day at Sea. She’ll then make her way to Disney California Adventure, Disneyland Parid, and Shanghai Disney Resort. You can get a glimpse of what she’ll look like in character form in the video below.

Captain Marvel products have already hit stores, and fans should watch out for material released by the studios to tie in some of her backstory before we meet her for the first time. If you’re a gamer, she’ll also be popping up in Marvel Games in February.

Marvel Studios released a clip featuring the Higher, further, faster” tagline on New Years Eve as well.

Captain Marvel tells the story of Carol Danvers in the 1990s. She has her Earth memories erased and is taken by Kree people known as the Starforce. She becomes caught in the middle of a galactic war between alien races who are thrreatening to make Earth their next target. It stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Rune Temte, Algenis Perez Soto, Mckenna Grace, with Annette Bening, with Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

Captain Marvel is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck.

Captain Marvel hits theaters on March 8th.
