Exploring Theories That Loki Could Come Back in ‘Avengers: Endgame’
The MCU character Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, has made his way into many fans hearts. He isn’t an Avenger, and he hasn’t always been a hero. He’s the God of Michief, Son of Odin who isn’t Thor. Now his life is on the line, and fans are trying to figure out way to figure out if his Avengers: Infinity War death can be undone.
Loki was killed by Thanos within the first ten minutes of the film before any of the other characters were wiped out by his murderous snap.
The latest two Avengers film directors, Joe and Anthony Russo have made it pretty clear that if one person is going to go, it would be Loki. His death was too separate and final.
There were leaked set photos that show scenes between Hiddleston and Robert Downey Jr., so he was there in some capacity.
The theories of his return all revolve around time travel. One is that the Avengers for back to the Battle of New York, in which Loki leads Thanos’ forces in an attempt to invade.
Whether or not Tom Hiddleston and Loki return to the MCU, we know we will see him again in a series Disney and Marvel are developing for Disney Plus streaming service.
Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th.
