‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Doesn’t Skip a Beat in First Clip From Season Six
The network may be new come Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s season six premiere, but fear not, the first official clip from the series confirms that everything in the Nine-Nine (Nine-Nine!) will be staying the same!
Now that Jake and Amy are married, a whole new batch of storylines are on the horizon – starting with the pair’s honeymoon. The clip finds Amy and Jake crashing Terry’s meeting to update the gang on their financial status, which is currently booming thanks to the wedding insurance Amy was sure to get them.
So, naturally, the two are trading in their planned weekend getaway to the Berkshires for a “super deluxe, 5-star, mega baller honeymoon.” Of course, in the Nine-Nine (Nine-Nine!) things don’t always go according to plan and with that much cash on hand, something tells us that Jake’s new infatuation with being a rich man isn’t going to go as planned. Brooklyn Nine-Nine will be airing its sixth season on January 10th at 9/8c on NBC, which rescued the series after Fox suddenly canceled it earlier this year. The entire cast including Andy Samberg, Terry Crews, Andrew Braugher, Stephanie Beatriz, Melissa Fumero, and Joe Lo Truglio will all be returning. Chelsea Peretti, who has been a regular since season one, will unfortunately not be returning full time, revealing on her social media she would be exiting the series at some point during season six.
