Ryan Gosling’s ‘First Man’ to Land on Digital, Blu-Ray/DVD/4K Ultra in January

Ryan Gosling’s interstellar Neil Armstrong drama is taking one giant leap into your homes this January.

The critically-acclaimed film is heading for digital release on January 8, 2019, and Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra on January 22, 2019.

Based on a novel by James R. Hansen, First Man tells the riveting story of NASA’s mission to land a man on the moon, focusing on Neil Armstrong (Gosling) and the years 1961-1969. The film also stars Claire Foy, Jason Clarke, Kyle Chandler, Christopher Abbott, Patrick Fugit, Lukas Hass, Ciaran Hinds, Ethan Embry, Shea Whigham, Corey Stoll, and Pablo Schreiber.

Receiving two Golden Globe nominations for Best Supporting Actress (Foy) and Best Original Score (Justin Hurwitz), First Man is directed by Damien Chazelle with a screenplay by Josh Singer. The film is produced by Chazelle along with Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, and Isaac Klausner with Steven Spielberg, Adam Merims, and Singer executive producing.
