10. The Shape of Water

Fox Searchlight

As the winner of Best Picture at this year’s Academy Awards, it makes sense that Guillermo Del Toro’s aquatic romance would make the top 10.

9. Crazy Rich Asians

Warner Bros.

Crazy Rich Asians completely dominated the Box Office when it was released back in August, and with a charming and diverse cast and its heartwarming story, the film became a social media sensation as well.

While the film may not have performed at the Box Office as well as Disney probably hoped, with Oprah, Reese, and Mindy at the helm, A Wrinkle in Time got a lot of love on Twitter.

6. Love, Simon

20th Century Fox

If you haven’t gotten the chance to see Love, Simon yet, do yourself a favor and get to it. The touching film shed a light on the struggles that so many young adults can be silently facing and it did so with heart, humor, and really great music.

5. Deadpool 2

CR: 20th Century Fox

We have a feeling that Ryan Reynolds would probably want Deadpool 2 to be a bit higher on the list, but the movie was a helluva lot of fun and that’s all that matters in our book.

4. Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Lucasfilm

The Last Jedi marked Carrie’s Fisher’s final Star Wars film, so it’s no surprise that it’s this high on the list.

3. The Incredibles 2

Pixar/Walt Disney Studios

Anyone who was old enough to remember seeing The Incredibles the first time around is now most likely a regular Twitter user, so when the superhero sequel flew into theaters this year, people had a lot to say and a place to say it.

2. The Avengers: Infinity War

Marvel

Let’s be real…people are still tweeting about this movie.

Wakanda Forever! Taking in the number one spot is Marvel’s Black Panther, which became the third-highest-grossing movie of all time in the United States, behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Avatar.
